Jason and I just had an impromptu funeral for one of the members of our family. Oscar, our flying fox fish (example image above), passed away this past evening. He had been acting a bit strange the past few weeks, so we were aware that this might happen soon. Oscar had a long life in the Mears family. He endured the move from Birmingham to Atlanta to DC and has been in our family since 1999. Rest in peace.

Oscar 1999-2008

Oh my goodness! That fish lived a wonderfully long life!!!
It is sad though, that fish has been with you through practically your whole marriage.
Oh my. I hope Angel is holding up okay. Are you planning on replacing Oscar? RIP Oscar!
