Rest and relaxation...

Life has been pretty uneventful for the Mears family this past week. Evan is still loving his rice cereal and has slept through the night for the past 3-4 nights straight. Let's hope this holds for a while. We're going to try the crib again tonight. Evan isn't a huge fan of his crib. During the first few months of his life, he slept in the bassinet part of his Pack-n-Play in our room. Now he sleeps in his bouncy seat in his room, as he feels hugged more as it cradles him. We've tried the crib, but his mattress is flat and firm and he doesn't like it as much (to be expected). He found a position while taking a nap today which suits him well in his crib...
Evan is certainly a strong baby. His latest fun is sitting "up" in his swing. This causes the swing to stall temporarily while it tries to readjust to the weight distribution. He sometimes tries to stick his head to the side...majorly alarming his parents! Note...no babies were harmed in the photos below. Evan was under constant adult supervision the whole time. Check out our strong, yet goofy child...
Of course we couldn't forget about Evan's big sister, Daisy. We've had a pretty lazy weekend and just relaxed around the house (well, Mommy and Daddy did some spring cleaning). But the kids relaxed.
We've got a great video of the whole family playing keep-away with Daisy. Evan was enjoying it immensely. I pulled out the instruction manual to the camcorder and intend to download the videos this week sometime. Once we do this, I'll try to post it to the blog. Wish me luck!

Did he hold onto his foot during his whole crib nap? That is hilarious! Sounds like he's growing up more every day! Tell Daisy hi for me.
